On February 26, Mahsud Askarov, the founder and head of the online media Kun.uz, was summoned for interrogation by the State Security Service. The claims were that the journalists improperly covered the situation in Ukraine. During the interrogation, the State Security Service officers demanded to cover the events in a «restrained and neutral manner». Three media employees were also summoned for questioning; the media did not disclose their names.
