In Makhachkala, the editor-in-chief of the newspaper Chernovik Magomed Magomedov and the journalist of the same newspaper Magdi Kamalov were summoned to the police department for holding individual pickets in support of their colleague Abdulmumin Gajiyev, arrested on terrorism charges. An explanation was taken from the picketers. The police explained their actions by the fact that they suspected that the pickets were not individual, but it was a mass event instead.
