The Simonovsky District Court in Moscow fined Lyubov Petrova, the editor-in-chief of the magazine Journalist, RUB 100,000 under the article on the distribution of deliberately false information (Part 9 of Article 13.15 of the Code of Administrative Offences of the Russian Federation). The reason was the republishing of an anti-war appeal from the Telegram channel of the Perm-based online magazine Zvezda, released on the morning of February 24. When the General Prosecutor’s Office demanded Roskomnadzor to block the website of Journalist, the publication was removed, but Petrova was still drawn up a report.
