On September 8, the court partially satisfied the lawsuit filed on June 9, 2022, by the Deputy Chairman of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia Hakob Arshakyan against the founders of the websites ArmDay.am and Lurer.com, demanding to publicly refute the information considered as libel and to pay a monetary compensation of AMD 5 million (about USD 12,500) by way of joint participation. The court obliged the defendants to publish a refutation, to pay the plaintiff AMD 500,000 (about USD 1,250) as compensation for libel and AMD 35,000 as state duty. The judicial act was not appealed and entered into force.
