Freelance photographer Luka Ghviniashvili has been sentenced to seven days in detention. His lawyer believes the true motive behind Ghviniashvili’s arrest is his journalistic work. According to Ghviniashvili, he was being followed by several individuals in plainclothes and run to a nearby police car to seek assistance. However, the people pursuing him turned out to be uniformed police officers, who then arrested him.
