Mher Terteryan, the leader of the United Homeland Party (UHP) and adviser to the former Prime Minister Karen Karapetyan, filed a lawsuit against Live News Media LLC in the Yerevan Court of General Jurisdiction. Terteryan demanded that they refute allegedly slanderous information and pay compensation for damage caused to his honour, dignity and business reputation. The lawsuit followed statements made on 30 June in the program "Ditaket" that "the leader of the UHP, Mher Terteryan, tried to kill his wife," as well as other details from his personal life, which Terteryan’s ex-wife Naira Terteryan and her lawyer, Hakob Charoyan, spoke about during the program. The claim is pending.
