In the morning, the police came to Larysa Shchiryakova's apartment and demanded to go with them to the police station. The journalist refused, as she had COVID-19 and was at home on self-isolation. As a result, Shchiryakova remained free. The closed trial on the «Tsikhanouski case» took place in Gomel on this day, and journalists Anatol Hatouchyts and Yauhen Merkis were detained. According to journalists, they were detained to prevent them from meeting with relatives of political prisoners.
