The camera crew arrived at a venue in Kyiv for an editorial assignment. There was a lavish celebration taking place, probably to mark the birthday of the president of the National Medical Academy. At the same time, on the street, journalist Kyrylo Volnii was trying to have a conversation with high-ranking guests who were quickly trying to leave the place. One of the men pushed the cameraman and smashed his camera and microphone.
