The head of the Marksovsky district Dmitry Romanov filed a lawsuit against Chernova for the protection of honour, dignity, and business reputation. He demands to recover RUB 1 million and to publish a refutation of the phrase «we are waiting for the next mischief», which, according to the plaintiff, caused him a long-term depression. On April 27, the Marks City Court partially satisfied Romanov’s claims against Chernova. She is obliged to pay the plaintiff RUB 20,000 as moral compensation and cover all his expenses for the trial. In particular, Chernova is charged with paying for a forensic examination costing about RUB 50,000.
