The Leninsky District Court of Hrodna has recognised the Polish website Kresy24.pl as extremist informational material. It is the news portal “Kresy24.pl – Wschodnia Gazeta Codzienna”. The resource publishes news from Belarus, Lithuania, Ukraine, Russia, as well as countries in Asia and the Caucasus. On the basis of the court’s decision, the Ministry of Information of Belarus added the internet resource to the Republican List of Extremist Materials. Under Belarusian law, the distribution and storage of materials recognised as extremist entails administrative liability for both publishers and users.
