Readers of the newspaper Kostanayskiye Novosti told the editorial office that KN journalists were going door-to-door surveys: «They are asking what position the citizens have on the conflict between Russia and Ukraine. The woman even showed an ID with the KN logo on it». On April 14, the newspaper issued an official statement saying that the editorial staff does not conduct such surveys. «Moreover, people who do this and introduce themselves as our staff are breaking the law, not to mention casting a shadow over the reputation of our media outlet. We are interested in identifying those who do this on our behalf», — explains editor-in-chief Oleg Gursky.
