Two Kostanay-based media outlets — Nasha Gazeta and Kostanayskiye Novosti were involved in the court proceedings on the case on protection of honour and dignity as third parties on the side of the defendant, not making independent claims. The lawsuit was initiated by a resident of the city A. Suleymenova to N. Kalasheva because of the comments under the post «How an ambulance can go to the yard», published in the Instagram account of Nasha Gazeta. In it, A. Suleymenova said that the ambulance could not enter the courtyard of residential buildings because of the closed barrier. In comments to the post, the user with the nickname «nelli.kst» called the video a «staging», and also left several comments under the post on the same topic in the account Kostanay_news. On October 13, A. Suleymenova filed an motion to bring as defendants the owners of media outlets — Tvoy Shans LLP and KOSTANAY MEDIA HOLDING LLP. The plaintiff does not have any demands to the media outlets.
