On January 24, the TV channel Otyrar broadcasted a material by Korkem Usibaliyeva in the programme News about four officials suspected of corruption in the Turkestan Region. The journalist issued the information with reference to the press secretary of the regional court Aset Serikbayev. Since February 7, an unknown man started writing to Korkem’s colleague in social networks and threatening her. He was interested in the author of the material. The man wrote that the TV channel Otyrar will answer for this publication in court.
