A court in Dushanbe sentenced blogger Komyor Mirzoyev, who was taken from Moscow, to 10 years in prison. Tajik law enforcement agencies accused Mirzoyev of participation in a criminal organisation. The blogger was detained in Moscow on September 5 at the request of Tajikistan. However, on September 7, the Lefortovo inter-district prosecutor’s office refused to extradite him and Mirzoyev was released. On September 11, it became known that the Tajikistani is in a detention center in Dushanbe.
