The editorial office of Gazeta.uz, under pressure from the authorities, deleted an article by columnist Komil Jalilov «Constitutional Reform: What Are They Preparing Us For?», published on June 23. He argued that «the changes to the Constitution should, in fact, allow a transition from a system based on individuals to a system based on working institutions.
