On September 26, health expert Samvel Kharazyan, who previously held the position of department head at the State Health Agency, filed a lawsuit with the Yerevan Court of General Jurisdiction against Editorial Office of Zhoghovurd LLC and its editor-in-chief Knar Manukyan, demanding compensation for damage caused to his honor and dignity. The reason for the lawsuit was the article «Corrupt System Remains Corrupt Today: What Did State Control Service Disclose?» published on August 25 on Armlur.am, the website of the above-mentioned LLC. It says, in particular, that Samvel Kharazyan along with a number of other officials of the Agency is involved in a criminal case, and the editorial staff will follow the progress of disclosure of their corrupt activities. The lawsuit is being considered.
