On October 15, in the bulding of National Assembly, the deputy of the ruling faction Civil Contract Hovik Aghazaryan, meeting the parliamentary correspondent of the newspaper Zhoghovurd and the news website Armlur.am Knar Manukyan and expressing dissatisfaction about the interview with him published by her, insulted the journalist, calling her «despicable» and «disgusting». In connection with the incident, journalistic NGOs issued a joint statement condemning the MP’s behaviour.
