The correspondent was covering the events at the site of the fall of a Russian missile at a civilian facility in the Zaporizhzhya Region. During the filming process, Russian troops launched a second attack at the same location. As a result of shrapnel from the explosion, the journalist suffered cuts on her head, but told the National Union of Journalists of Ukraine that she felt fine after receiving medical treatment.
