On July 16, in Batumi, 36-years-old blogger and disabled man Khvicha Shakarishvili was arrested because of his Facebook post. The police detention report states that Shakarishvili had published a post on his page where he «addressed police officers with foul words». The trial was postponed at the request of the defense because the lawyer did not hand over the case materials. Shakarashvili was released from the courtroom; he claimed that he was subjected to police violence.
