The director of a company dealing with the removal and sorting of solid household waste appealed to the editorial board of the Khorosheye Delo newspaper with a pre-trial claim. The reason was the publication of complaints of the residents of the village of Ulyanovskiy filed to the prosecutor's office, which spoke of an «unauthorized dump» located near the border of the village. «In case of the publication of false information, we warn you about the responsibility for the dissemination of deliberately false information, discrediting the honor and dignity of another person or undermining his reputation, provided for in Article 130 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan. At the same time, we reserve the right to go to court with a claim for the protection of business reputation, as well as compensation for moral (non-property) damage caused as a result of the dissemination of false information by the defendant that discredits honor and dignity», – the claim stated.
