Law enforcement officers did not allow Khatia Gogoberidze, a journalist of the On.ge media, to fulfil her professional duties while covering a protest rally in Batumi. «This fact is covered by the On.ge and Main TV channel journalist's footage, where it is seen how the reporter falls during the filming process. In the footage, the journalist is heard repeating the words: "What are you doing, I'm a journalist!" several times. Nevertheless, law enforcement officers beat her severely and turn her around», the Georgian Charter of Journalistic Ethics said in its statement.
