The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation announced an indefinite ban on entry into the country for 29 US citizens. The sanctions, according to the Ministry’s website, were imposed on «senior executives, businessmen, experts and journalists who shape the Russophobic agenda, as well as the spouses of several high-ranking officials». The sanctions were imposed on TV host George Stephanopoulos, CNN journalist Bianna Golodryga, and editor-in-chief of the English-language version of Meduza Kevin Rothrock.
