On May 4, the website of the news agency KazTAG with reference to the media outlet Avia News of Kazakhstan published information about poisoning of four crew members of a charter flight with onboard food. After the publication, the news agency received a letter of complaint from Almaty Catering Services LLP, which claims that the KazTAG article «unreasonably undermines the authority of Almaty Catering Services LLP». Meanwhile, the Department of Sanitary and Epidemiological Control confirmed the poisoning of the crew members with onboard food at the request of another media outlet — TV channel Astana. The source of information — media outlet Avia News of Kazakhstan — also received a letter from Almaty Catering Services LLP with a demand for refutation.
