The website of KazTAG was subjected to large-scale DDoS and spam attacks. The attack on the website was preceded by a large-scale spam attack on the e-mail, which began at night — within a few hours thousands of letters, mostly in English, arrived at the editorial office’s e-mail addresses. After the impact of spam on the effective processing of incoming e-mails by the editorial office had been neutralized, the KazTAG agency’s website was subjected to a DDoS attack. In particular, about 5 thousand simultaneous appeals to the Internet resource were recorded. The website was inaccessible for about half an hour.
