The lawyer, the former employee of the Control Chamber of the Republic of Armenia Aram Mamikonyan, filed a lawsuit to the Yerevan Court of General Jurisdiction against the journalist Karmen Davtyan (Editorial Office of Zhoghovurd Daily Newspaper LLC (armlur.am) was involved in the lawsuit as a third party) demanding financial compensation for the damage caused to honour and dignity as well as a refutation of the information considered libel, and apology. The reason for the lawsuit was the article by Karmen Davtyan, where the author accused the plaintiff of corruption and bribery. In the commentary to the article, the editorial board said they were not responsible for the journalist's opinion. The lawsuit is being considered.
