Kairat Abdrahman was summoned to the prosecutor’s office via WhatsApp for an interview about the survey he posted on social network VKontakte. The Prosecutor’s Office explained to the blogger that, without having the powers specified by the law «On elections in the Republic of Kazakhstan», he posted survey concerning the upcoming parliamentary elections. In particular, he was reminded that he had sought the views of his followers by asking them the following questions: Do they trust the elections and what do they think of the local deputies? The prosecutor’s office took an explanatory note from the blogger.
