The Leninsky Court of Kursk arrested British newspaper The Sun's war correspondent Jerome Starkey in absentia on charges of illegally crossing the Russian border (Part 3 of Article 322 of the Russian Criminal Code). The case was opened for reporting from areas of the Kursk region occupied by the Ukrainian Armed Forces. Russia has placed Starkey and several other foreign reporters on an international wanted list.
