The Russian Ministry of Justice has included Abkhaz journalist Izida Chania in its register of “foreign agents.” The ministry said that the journalist, as an employee of foreign publications, disseminated inaccurate information about decisions made by Russian public authorities and their policies, as well as about the electoral system. In addition, according to the Ministry of Justice, Chania collaborated with an “undesirable organisation.”
