The Izmailovsky District Court of Moscow has opened an administrative case against Meduza editor-in-chief Ivan Kolpakov under the article concerning participation in an “undesirable” organisation. The exact reason for the case has not been disclosed. Meduza was designated an “undesirable” organisation in January 2023, with the Prosecutor General’s Office stating that the publication’s activities “pose a threat to the foundations of the constitutional order and the security of the Russian Federation.”
