Journalist Ivan Kleimenov was detained on the stairs near the Roman Viktyuk theatre. A police officer attacked him, used a stun gun, and smashed his head. He was also kept in a police van for several hours in almost torture conditions. While being in the police van, the journalist called an ambulance — the police officers promised that they would let doctors see him, but without waiting for them, he was transferred to another police van and taken to the Yuzhnoye Medvedkovo District police station. After that, he was returned to the police station and left overnight in the cell.
