In Karelia, Roskomnadzor drew up a report on Ivan Gusev, the editor-in-chief of Gubernia Daily, under Article 5.11 of the Code of Administrative Offences of the Russian Federation (election campaigning by prohibited persons). The candidate for the elections of the governor of Karelia Anatoly Dudarin complained to the Central Election Commission about the media; he was not happy with the article about the visit of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation candidate Yevgeny Ulyanov to the Olonets dairy factory where he criticized the government candidate and the current head of the republic Artur Parfenchikov. Gusev faces a fine of RUB 2-3 thousand.
