17-year-old Isayev and his 20-year-old co-author Saleh Magamadov, kidnapped in spring in Nizhny Novgorod and forcibly taken to Grozny, again reported being tortured in Grozny detention center №1: they were beaten and driven in a trunk without ventilation. Isayev and Magamadov face up to 16 years in prison under Part 2 of Article 208 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation. In 2020, both young men were tortured and humiliated for anti-clerical publications.
