20-year-old Salekh Magamadov and his 17-year-old co-author Ismail Isaev were arrested in Nizhny Novgorod and taken to Chechnya, where they were forced to record a video of «confession» to helping the armed underground. An interrogation was also conducted, the police did not allow a lawyer to visit them. When Magamadov and Isaev left the police station, they were arrested again. They are facing up to 16 years in prison under Part 2 of Article 208 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation. In 2020, both young men were tortured and humiliated for their anticlerical publications. The Russian LGBT network helped them to leave Chechnya. Their whereabouts are currently unknown.
