Iryna Slavnikava and her husband Alyaksandr Loyko, who should have been released on November 14 after their administrative arrest for «distribution of extremist materials», were again sentenced to 15 days each. The Pervomaisky District Court of Minsk judge found the journalist and her husband guilty of «petty hooliganism» based on police reports. The trials were held via Skype from the detention centre. Iryna managed to report that the letters and telegrams were not passed to her. She also said that there were lice in her cell because homeless people were being held with her. The only parcels she received were medicine. Slavnikava and Loyko were detained on October 30 at Minsk airport when they were returning from holidays.
