The Leninski District Court of Hrodna, having repeatedly considered the administrative case against Iryna Novik for distribution of extremist materials, declared her guilty again. The first time the case was heard on June 3, the decision of that session was cancelled by the regional court after the journalist's complaint. At the second hearing, judge Ruslan Gurin imposed a fine of 25 base amounts (BYN 725). The court considered the photo with the logo of Telegram channel, declared extremist in Belarus, wrongly placed on the website Hrodna.life, as distribution of extremist materials.
