Zaporizhzhia-based journalist Iryna Dubchenko was detained by the Russian military and taken to Donetsk «to conduct investigative actions in connection with harbouring and supporting a Ukrainian serviceman». At the same time, according to witnesses, they repeatedly emphasised her journalistic activities and said that «they would have shot her on the spot, but she was lucky to have a child». Iryna herself, despite being in temporarily occupied territory, continued to write for the Ukrainian media.
