The police detained four female journalists — Liza Dudina (Sota), Alevtina Trynova (Vecherniye Vedomosti), Irina Salomatova (RusNews), and Kristina Khaker (Rosderzhava) — on the Vainera Street in Yekaterinburg, where an action against mobilization was to take place. Later, all the detainees were released from the paddy wagon and asked to leave the site of the protest. Dudina managed to leave, and then the three remaining journalists were detained a second time and taken to different police stations, where they were asked to give explanations. The police took Salomatova's phone and wouldn't let her call anyone for a long time.
