On June 18, representatives of the opposition movement holding protests against the Armenian-Azerbaijani border delimitation being carried out by the authorities bullied Irina Mkrtchyan, correspondent of the Public Television of Armenia. The oppositionists did not like the report prepared by the journalist about the events of June 12, when clashes between demonstrators and law enforcement forces took place in the centre of Yerevan, near the parliament building, during which the police used special means, including flash-bang grenades. The activists of the movement, who believed that the material justified the forceful actions of the police, posted on their Telegram channel a picture of Irina Mkrtchyan with insulting comments and accusations that she allegedly «feeds the people with lies».
