On May 3, it became known that the head of the project Nemolchi.uz, journalist and femactivist Irina Matvienko temporarily left Uzbekistan because of a death threat. An unknown person wrote to her that the massacre with or without his participation would take place before the end of May. On April 28, she filed a complaint with the Ministry of Internal Affairs concerning the threats. The Ministry of Internal Affairs said that the message received on Irina Matvienko’s personal account was being studied by the Cyber Security Centre of the Operations and Investigation Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
