The journalists of Important Stories Polina Uzhvak, Alesya Marokhovskaya, and Irina Dolinina were detained at the action in front of the building of the Ministry of Justice. Four hours later, they were released from the police with reports under Part 5 of Article 20.2 of the Code of Administrative Offences of the Russian Federation (participation in an unauthorised action). The series of individual pickets was timed to coincide with the International Day of Solidarity of Journalists. Dolinina, Marokhovskaya, and Important Stories are included in the register of «foreign agents». On September 16, the Zamoskvoretsky District Court of Moscow fined the journalists RUB 10,000 each.
