Danilovich disappeared for almost two weeks after her detention on April 29. Her lawyer said she was held in the Federal Security Service department in Crimea until a preventive measure was imposed on May 7. On May 7, the Kievsky District Court of Simferopol arrested Danilovich for two months until the end of the investigation. While in custody, Danilovich was interrogated and forced to take a lie detector test about her alleged ties with foreign intelligence services, media, and other organizations, as well as about her involvement in the movement Crimean Solidarity — an organization of activists, lawyers, and relatives of Crimean political prisoners.
