Security officials detained at least 43 media workers on October 11 while covering protests against the presidential election results. The journalist was detained in the city centre during the day and taken to the police department «to check the documents». There she was drawn up an administrative report for alleged disobedience to the police (Article 23.4 of the Code of Administrative Offences of the Republic of Belarus). She was held in the police department for about 10 hours, after which she was released.
