On April 29, the former Director of Yerevan Zoo Ruben Khachatryan filed a lawsuit with the Yerevan Court of General Jurisdiction against Manuk Manukyan and Iravunk Media LLC (the founder of Iravunk TV) with demands to refute the information considered libel and pay compensation. The reason for the lawsuit was the statements of Manuk Manukyan in his April 1 interview to the broadcaster, where it was noted that the zoo is on the brink of collapse, as a corrupt scheme was operated during years, in particular, during the leadership of Ruben Khachatryan: state financial means were embezzled, while animals were left without care and attention. The lawsuit is being considered.
