On 13 October, citizen Sargis Yazichyan filed a lawsuit with the Yerevan Court of General Jurisdiction against Iravunk Media LLC, demanding a public apology for insult and a retraction of information deemed defamatory. The lawsuit was prompted by an article published on 12 September on the Iravunk.com news website, owned by the aforementioned company. The article claimed that Sargis Yazichyan — a defrocked priest — had engaged in immoral behaviour during his service and now, through false testimony, supports media outlets loyal to Prime Minister Pashinyan. The case is currently under consideration.
