On May 14, the Armenian charitable foundation SOS Children’s Villages filed a lawsuit against Iravunk Media, LLC demanding a public retraction of information considered libellous and restitution for material damage caused to their business reputation. The reason for the lawsuit was the publication on the site Iravunk.com of an article in which the editors, citing their own sources, noted that officers of the foundation were involved in theft. The case was accepted, and the judicial proceeding is underway.
