On July 31, the Rector of the French University in Armenia Sandra Bourdichon (aka Salva Nakuzi) filed a lawsuit against French citizen Leo Nikolyan with the Yerevan Court of General Jurisdiction, demanding a public apology for insulting, refutation of the information considered as libel, and payment of monetary compensation for the statements infringing business reputation. The third party involved in the case are the public organisations Tribune of Free Speech (founder of the information website Politik.am), Hayeli Club (founder of the website Hayeli.am), Constitutional Rights Union Party (founder of the website Iravunk.com), and Bats TV LLC. The reason for the lawsuit was the publications of the mentioned media, in which the rector of the French university is accused of corrupt deals. The lawsuit is being considered.
