The Kalininsky District Court of St. Petersburg sent former hieromonk of the Russian Orthodox Church, video blogger Ioann Kurmoyarov, to the pre-trial detention center. He is being prosecuted for «military fakes» (Paragraph E of Part 2 of Article 207.3 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation) for a video on his YouTube channel «Who will be in hell and who in paradise?» in which Kurmoyarov stated that because of the war in Ukraine, Russians as aggressors will go to hell. Kurmoyarov was detained on June 7; his apartment was searched and all his equipment (computer, tablet, two hard drives), two icons, a wooden cross, and a cassock were taken away.
