The court of the Baranavichy district and the Baranavichy city found the journalist of the independent regional online media outlet Intex-press guilty under Part 2 of Article 19.11 of the Code of Administrative Offences of the Republic of Belarus (distribution of information products included in the national list of extremist materials, as well as production, publishing, storage, or transportation with the purpose of distribution of such information products). Judge Ina Paulouskaya fined the journalist 15 basic amounts (BYN 555). The court also confiscated the mobile phone of the correspondent in favour of the state as a means of committing the offence. According to the administrative report, in February 2022, the correspondent of Intex-press forwarded information from a Telegram channel declared extremist in Belarus.
