The Nalchik City Court sent Insa Lander to house arrest in a case of facilitation of terrorist activity (Part 1 of Article 205.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation). The case is based on her correspondence on VKontakte with an acquaintance in 2014. Her blogger, who lives in Moscow, was detained in the town of Baksan, where she had come to visit her relatives. Insa Lander was preparing an investigation into the leak of money from a charitable foundation run by a high-ranking official of Kabardino-Balkaria. On April 29, 2022, the Nalchik City Court extended the house arrest of Insa Lander for two months until July 9.
