On December 8, inbusiness.kz reported on the switching of the website to protection mode, as there is a possibility of DDoS attacks. In the morning of December 8, around 11 AM, news agency inbusiness.kz began to have technical problems in the work of the resource. The first malfunctions were detected by the editors — there was a noticeable slowdown in the work of the website. Numerous requests to the website of the Kazakhstani mass media came both from Kazakhstan and from the USA, Russia, France, China, and Singapore. The information was passed on to the media outlet’s provider, which provides the website hosting service. By 12 PM, during the period of the most active attacks, the website was put on special protection. At 14.20 PM, the malicious attacks were repelled. The media outlet notes that the last time inbusiness.kz was subjected to a massive cyber attack was in March 2022.
